Pamlico Sail & Power Squadron members enjoy a variety of social gatherings.
General Membership Dinner Meetings are typically held every other month. The meetings begin with a half hour cocktail period, followed by a lovely dinner and a guest speaker along with squadron announcements. Members are encouraged to bring guests who may have an interest in joining the squadron.

The Pamlico Sail & Power Squadron is proudly celebrating its 10th Year Anniversary in 2010. The Bridge has dedicated its regularly scheduled General Membership Meeting in March to celebrating the efforts of our distinguished Past Commanders, Officers and Members who helped to form and shape this important organization through our first 10 years. As the Squadron looks to the future, our members firmly support our objectives of continuing boating safety and education, local community service and enjoying the friendship and camaraderie of our fellow squadron members.
Change of Watch Dinner Meeting is a more formal affair where our casual dress is stepped up a notch and our PSPS Officers are in uniform. This function is the installation of new officers and committee chairs for that year.
Other Events are holiday parties and occasions “just for the fun of it” that may occur from time to time.
All events provide a great opportunity to get together with other boat lovers and enjoy a day or an evening of camaraderie. Attendance is not required by members, but, is surely appreciated!
Watch the PSPS Meetings Calendar for these events and enjoy the results of the great times in our award winning Sound of the Pamlico Newsletter or in our Web Site Photo Gallery.
For 2010, our Administrative Officer, Gene Alligood, is planning to arrange alternative locations for our Membership Meetings and Cruise destinations. If you have any ideas, call Gene and let him know at 252-946-5720, enter a comment in our Cruising Blog or simply email Gene.
