This really was a great time! We simply took over River Forest Marina and the owner, Axson, couldn't have been more accomodating. We had perfect weather and lots of fun. We even had evening entertainment! Is anyone surprised that Gene is a creative "story teller"?

More Get Lucky
Arrived at Baltimore Marine Center on Thursday. Management of the four marinas in the group was having a season-end pool party for customers Friday. the dockmaster invited us to join in. Open bar, barbequed pork, salads, fashion show, DJ music. Well worth the extra night's dockage. next party, Northeast River Yacht Club, August 28.
Reef early, Scott

I'd like to see overnight anchorages as part of cruises or as destinations. There's some nice pristine areas like Slade Creek and Deep Bay although best before or after the yellow fly season. South River off the Neuse is a popular anchorage for some of the sailing groups in New Bern. Cape Lookout is always a nice trip weather permitting.
